When I was searching for hardware for my house, I bought a lot of paint-covered door hinges at the salvage place, which I cleaned up and used for my new old doors. After stripping off the paint, I saw that one of them had this stamp on it...and crazily it turns out it was manufactured in the same building where I once lived in a terrible apartment as a grad student in RI (where I had to walk by a methadone clinic to get to class and my apartment flooded every time it rained hard)! Such a strange coincidence...but maybe it's fate! I used all the matching hinges, but I saved this one with the stamp on it!

I might! It looks like they made trivets too, and it would be neat to have one from the same building I used to live in. However, most likely I'm going to splurge this weekend on this cast iron antique bed for my small bedroom, which has the best view of the back acreage.

Oaktree, make certain it has the rails. Theses old beds are not built with standard hardware, basicly saying it can only use one type of rail.

Yes, it has the rails!
I should be able to just put a box spring and mattress on top of these, yes?
