Yes! Retire or live in the Tampa Bay area, in this completely original 1907 home, on a 1/2 acre lot, for only 35,900!
I have been watching this house for some time, wondering what will happen to it. Its been on the market for almost a year. Recently there was an offer pending, and I wanted to see if the new owners were going to fix or tear down, so I could have a chance at salvaging the interior doors.
Now, its back on the market. It was last owned by the daughter who grew up in the house, passed away at age 85. Its in a good area, east of the historic district, but at the intersection of two slightly busier residential streets. The foundation looks ok, appears level, has a metal roof. No Heat, No AC, but it does have a fireplace in the bedroom.
The realty ad says it was last renovated in 1933.

Speaking of tongue and groove walls...
Take down the awful warped wood panelling, give everything a good scrub and a coat of paint, buy a nicer vintage salvaged sink = very livable, for a great price. Why isn't Florida closer to Ontario ?

I forgot to mention it is a 3/2 1870 SF.
That could be a lot of termites, its advertised as a "handyman special"
The walls and doors are very similar to my house....except the colors....

Wow thats pretty cool! I didn't think there was any unrestored places left. Figured they were all "renovated" in the 70s or later. I hope someone who wants to restore it buys it!
