Interesting thoughts on wood vs paint.

I think that after shot looks great, nice accenting.

Thanks! :)
I have had a lot of visitors in the past few months ask for the name of the colors I have chosen. Beyond every comment made, that makes me feel like I have made good decisions.
(I had one couple get the complete color scheme for my kitchen. Including where I bought my dishes!)
Oh, um, just about done with the kitchen, so before and after and kitchen post coming soon...

I look forward to seeing what you did with the kitchen! I think you have a good sense of design!

Mike, great tile choices and the installation looks great. Love, love, love the window in bathroom #1.

What was bathroom #1 before? I don't see any plumbing, so a sewing room or some-such thing?

Wow Mike - Bathroom #1 looks great. Would love to see more photos if you have any. And yes - what was the room originally? Interesting!

Here's the living room in our house. When we moved in it was a lovely two-tone peach color with "cool" white moldings.

Now the moldings are "Ivory Tusk", a "warm" white, and the walls are "Cork". Note that the tile fireplace surround hasn't changed. And replaced all the knob-and-tube while I was at it.
