How lucky you are to be the stewards of such a beautiful home. Isn't it amazing she escaped many decades with no remuddling. That's a rare find.
Looking forward to more pics and history.

To continue the tour, too the back of the front hall we turn right into the kitchen
A quick look to the back we see the rear vestibule and beyond that the summer kitchen or scullery. The kitchen has eight appetures, either windows or doors. With wainscotting all around. It was and still is a working kitchen. Never to be seen by the guests.
Left door is the pantry, right door the back stairs.
All that remains of a circulation heater

Ok, let's go down into basement, if your shoter than 5 9 no need the duck your head. The usable space down here is about a quarter of the foot print, rest is crawle space.
The furnace before replacement. Just a massive thing that would suck a gas well dry every time it fired, and gezzzzz if it didn't shake the ducting when it did. Those with a keen scence of observation may have noticed, they even plastered and parged down here. Ok, back upstairs we'll go. All the way up to the second floor
Please don't swing on our newle post.
Reaching the top of the stairs this greets us. Only four bedrooms in all. None can be considers small.
This is the smallest of the four. Upper management gussied it up a bit.

Before we tour the outside let me point out some of the plaster work the old girl stills wears,
This is the plaster in the dinning room
The front parlour cornice
The front parlour roof medallion.
Two of these, one in the dining room other in the back parlour
Rear parlour cornice this is the only damages section, the rest of the room is still up there in great condition.
