Folks, thanks for the kind words once again, nice to be in the company of people who appreciate hold homes. Gothichome might be a little fancier than some homes here in the District but it is in no way grander.

what you are doing there is looking magnificent! it makes you wonder how long your work will remain there. people could easily be still admiring your work 100 years or more in the future.

Phill, I certainly hope so. If white paint goes over it in the future they’d best be up for some serious hauntings, my ghost won’t be happy.

What about trying a faux burl on the panels? It looks really nice to me overall. I particularly like the ornamental work visible in the landing photo.
