Pantry restoration / creation - picture heavy

Post by Mick_VT »

I have been remiss in posting on my pantry project., This has been going on for the past year, now finally drawing to a close. A hard room to photograph as it is so small. It still took most of the year to get it done

Well that's a fine looking pantry ! Looking at the finished photos, it looks like it has always been there, in that state.

Walking backwards over the progress photos makes me feel exhausted as I can see how much work it took to get there.
You did a great job. It must feel so good to walk in that room now. Do you ever pull up a chair in there, so you can just gaze at your improvements ? Every detail just looks right.

Very nice work! I restored the pantry in our former house(1840), so have an understanding of the work involved. I'm jealous of your woodwork talent, as my work is more of the "paint grade" quality as a cabinetmaker friend would say.

Its looking great Mick. lots of nice detail in your woodwork. The colors look warm and natural. a small room is no easier than a large one as you have just as many corners. Nice job on the windows and cabinetry, it looks really good.
