A decades-overdue paint job commences

Post by EQA »

I don’t get to post or participate nearly as often as I’d like.

However, I think everyone here will enjoy this:

Thanks. The green can look decent in pictures, but it’s appalling in real life. And it was poorly painted previously, anyway. We had weeks of major carpentry before painting could even between. In the end, there will be five colors on the house, and even if we sold in six months, which we don’t plan on doing, the house will be better off for the future. And if Ruskin is to be believed, that’s all that matters.

;)

EQA, it’s going to look great. Going five colours, a bit brave in this age of blandness. You’ll have the prettiest home on the block. Are you the first one on your block to go full Ruskin?

Updates are nice too when time allows. Thanks for sharing the photos. I do love the details of homes like yours, but did not want the responsibility for same. :D
