Reported.
Oh...wait...its me.
Anyway, about a week after we moved here, we came out to find part of our property and the field next door all messed up. I thought a small Cessna had crashed.
Then I remember what a neighbor told me about what is living in the woods out back. So I set up a game cam, and this is what we have, visiting us every other night, thanks to Hernado DeSoto:

A fine swine! Will you shoot it and hang it in the smoke house?

Youngest daughter says please don't hurt the piggy. I am sure there are few around here hoping to nab it though.

No offense to your daughter, but here in the South, that is not a "piggy" - that is a hawg!

And a fairly big one at that, the fire pit in the foreground is 4 feet across.

Eat all winter on that! You want to be careful with it-piggies on the farm are sure cute, but a wild one can kill and eat an adult in not much time at all-we had a case of that several years back here-the officials only found out what happened when the man's wedding ring turned up.

"Respect" is exactly what that thing needs-just like you respect a lightning bolt or lion or anything else capable of putting a swift case of misery on you. Be careful! There are people who will take care of it for you if you have little ones-you can relocate one, but it's not a job for the faint of heart or inexperienced.

Re: Wildlife
I understand these to be very aggressive animals, and I am concerned about my kittys.
Take a look at these other two pics, the one with the neighbors Siamese the hog is to the left, if you enlarge it you can clearly see it.
The other one is my cat Bebe, who looked at the camera just as it snapped, friend in background.
