Saved one...a...minor project...

Part of the former WavyGlass.org site. Anything non-old-house-related went here, but sometimes it was old-house related too

Not an old house...but has a chance to become one now...

Wrapped up my part of this project this weekend...

That housewrap definitely had seen its fair share of sun!

Nice job, potentially silly question though... that gigantic house is just sitting on blocks like a mobile home - no foundation?

They build a lot like that here. The Old Vic for instance is sitting on bois d'arc stumps...they first dug down to bedrock though (not far here)

That house is on blocks...but they drilled down (don't know how far) and poured concrete footers, then put the blocks, then filled the blocks with concrete).

Another one saved even if it sheathed in vinyl. Glad you and your Father stepped up to the plate. And so is your sister I bet.
