found some hidden old money!

We are redoing the bathroom, and tearing out the old beadboard and trim.

Behind some trim above the sink was about 6 wheat pennies, and one was a steel 1943! It's worth about 15 cents!!! Total windfall!

I'll probably just glue them all to the trim when we are done.

As for the 50 bobby pins and safety pins we found there too, they are in a small glass jar we'll probably put on the windowsill. But seriously, why did somebody shove so many of them behind the trim? Kinda weird, if you ask me...

Add a few new pennies of your own and put them back behind the wall, It'll give the owners a hundred years from now some thing to think about. And that steel penny might be worth 30 cents by then.
