I used some kind of Bona floor oil, can't really remember what it was called. From the smell it was mostly boiled linseed oil. What I love about the oil is that it really makes the grain pop and gives the wood a rich, warm colour. Of course some people don't want their floors dark and do all kinds of things like using white pigmented oil, which usually wears off rather quickly because unlike the oil the pigment doesn't penetrate the wood. If you ask me, the white oil just looks dirty from the start.
