So I'm back to doing windows as of last week. Finished #29 of 80 the other day. Now we have a cross breeze in the kitchen.

And started #30, 31 and 32.

I'm off work for a while so I'll be able to put a lot of time into the house (and a little time to job hunting). These are on the north side and are always in the shade and are so nice to work on. I can paint and scrape anytime during he day. The others I did were in direct sunlight.

argh, i can't open the photos! just wanted to send strength, patience, endurance and shade in your direction...so, you're working on the sash while in place? just curious as to why you wouldn't take them out to work on a bench in the shade...the photos i've seen look fantastic!

...jade

No I'm working on the sashes inside. The hours I spend outside scraping and painting the jambs are now in the shade.

I have the garage "quarantined" as my dirty work area and then all the clean work is in the basement.

Finished 30, 31 and 32 last week. I'm off windows for a few weeks and when i get back to them in a few weeks I'll do another level on the scaffold and do the 3 windows above. The bump out has been covered with aluminum and hopefully the original details are there. There is a crown molding detail where the windows meet the roof and is covered over. Other areas where I removed aluminum the wood underneath was in fine shape.

I wish I could move that fast! I've got more windows to do now than when we started! (we bought another building).

Great looking work!

Looks great!

Hopefully, our words of encouragement help add some additional motivation.

I set up the scaffold for windows 33, 34 and 35 yesterday. In this pic you can see the aluminum covered trim.

I spent some time removing the storms and most of the aluminum. There is one detail missing but there is a shadow line of it and I have a shaper bit that is very close to the profile. Here you can see how the bump out used to look.

I am totally impressed with how quick you work & how nice the results are!

I have no excuse for being as far behind as I am....
