the house is beautiful, the patio is very attractive, the plants are coming alive, the dogwood is exquisite but i must say, my heart is filled when i see kids toys outdoors! your yard is as neat as a pin but looks cozy and inviting.....
and don't worry about the sarco, it'll last at least a year and there's plenty more where that came from...

Seriously fantastic walkway and your quality control crew is pretty adorable. Congrats finding time to restore a house and raise kids, plenty of people have their hands full with undertaking one of those tasks. I hope to redo my slate walkway with a the herringbone pattern you did next spring.
Re: Alright, Im here (1795 Cape)
Ok a new year is here and with it new projects!
Ive started on restoring windows and repainting a bunch of interior rooms: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=884
We also are tackling more difficult areas of the yard. We finally got around to digging out all the overgrown daylilies and crabgrass out in front of our stone wall road barrier (that gets driven over yearly by the plows) and replanted the entire strip with some salt tolerant plants and groundcover.

Don't you just hate that; we put up reflective stakes which worked until ithe last snow fall (after the frost went out) & the darn plow ripped up a foot of lawn & threw it up on the grass. I didn't realize you had such a big intersection in front of your home!
