Kansas checking in

On the old board, I was Kansas. 1911.
I got a little hasty when registering and forgot my space and my dot. Now I'm Kansas.1911

But, hey, close enough. Have we picked up any new people on this forum, people who did not migrate? Can't wait to meet the newbies, once I'm no longer a "newbie" myself.

My husband and I are empty nesters who are almost finished with our 1911 home. Putting a 3rd and 4th kid through college would have been cheaper than this baby.

The next big project for us will be HVAC. Our system is 20 years old this year and in "good" shape due to regular maintenance. However, we would like to be proactive; we would not like to be stranded. Presently we are saving and gambling.

I'll work on my "signature" next.
