I had quite an exciting day a few weeks back. The alarm installer inadvertently tested the new smoke detectors by setting the house on fire (blogpost here: http://fixfarrington.blogspot.com/2014/09/fire-in-hole.html).

Coincidentally, this arrived in the mail that afternoon. I wish I could send it back in time to the person that did the electrical remuddling.

Interesting that they use a stock photo of a German outlet, when AFCIs (arc fault breakers) are virtually unknown in Germany
