Ha, thanks!

Envy the tower all you'd like... just don't envy putting the tower storm windows in. It was death defying!!

But if you could afford a house like this when it was built you certainly could afford to hire a handyman to install the windows each season.

You have a beautiful house.

Thank you sir!

And good point! They were quite a wealthy family. They owned a very large woolen mill operation that supplied blankets to the union troops during the civil war, and they made wool skirts that were "in" at some point. :) According to the written history a previous owner gave me, they had chauffeurs, maids, gardeners, etc.

I thought they were wealthy because the house actually has closets in every bedroom.

I have always loved your place...but I guess I never noticed how creative you had to get when painting. Lots of interesting angles & curves where the ceilings meet the walls. Love it!!

She certainly aint no cookie cutter townhouse!! <--bad English intentional!

I can see why you would like to show off your "new" old home. It is beautiful! Considering the beautiful exterior, the interior is certainly just as lovely.
