Any thoughts on making the box from 3/4" plywood? I have a ton of scrap ply laying around. Woudl it hold the heat well enough?

i recall someone in my circle of professional window restorers tried plywood but it absorbed the steam/moisture and didn't hold the heat...

ha, i have plenty of scrap plywood too...of course when i need a piece for a project, i never have the right size!
