I remember viewing a few houses that had such nice interior work and un-level floors and thinking gee that would drive me nuts because in order to make the house level you'd have to destroy the interior. Sounds like about as much fun to do as a new sewer but it's behind you now and you can fix up the interior without having that hanging over your head.

I spent a fortune raising & leveling our big bank barn prior to rebuilding the stable level for horses. 2/3'ds of the sill on the bank side was replaced plus termite eaten posts & beams. One beam was hanging on the one electric wire coming into the barn. I pulled the fuse on that the day we closed on the property! It was worth the extra expense to know the barn is straight, solid & will stand another 100 years.
