Why oh why can't they be on my local CL, preferably in the free section, within walking distance ?

They're really good. Someone good better snap them up.

well these shutters are right down the road a bit from me...if someone is truly interested, I can purchase and hold them.....just a thought...

Most crank out casement windows have interior screens.

Oooohhhh, too far for me to drive. :cry: I have never heard of interior screens before, either.

Good suggestion to save the pics--I did just that. Trying to sweet-talk my dad into making reproduction screens and storms for me since he is otherwise unemployed thanks to the economy.

Pretty cool!

I still have a full set of wooden exterior storm windows that I grabbed from a house down the street when they were throwing them out about 10 years ago. The houses in my neighborhood were all built at the same time and share many details. I thought they might fit my windows but they don't.
