50 Wavy windows available

Post by allenkemp (WavyGlass) »

We just did replacement windows on a 1911 Victorian home in Hampton, Virginia. I have 50 wavy windows (25 double hung) available. Anyone want to buy them? Or know somewhere I can sell them? I almost discarded them all. I have no idea what a fair selling price is.

I have to say that you have chosen what is, historically, our hottest topic. So many of us here are borderline purists, and if there is one original feature of our old homes that nearly all of us try to save, it's the original windows. Please understand this mindset should you meet with some "less than excited" members here.

That being said, I did a Google search & found http://www.caravatis.com/ They are an architectural salvage house. They can give you something for them.

That's about it.

You would be wise to keep them. You will need them sooner than you think.

Shutting this thread down - given the obvious focus of this community, the author should have known better.
