Historic home for sale in our neck of the woods

Post by Fanner (WavyGlass) »

I don't see an area devoted to posting homes for sale - If there is one please direct me and I will re-post this there... I love to peruse the local real estate sites for historic homes in our area and thought I would share a few. I am in no way affiliated with these companies - it is just fun to look through the pictures. And just maybe someone here would like to re-locate to my neighborhood ;)

This home was built in 1914 and from what I have heard and can see in the pictures it is for the most part quite original - with the exception of the bathroom and kitchen and a finished basement. This is also featured in a local book about haunted houses :o

This lovely home is currently a B&B:

This 1940's home appears to have the original woodwork intact upstairs - not 100% sure on the downstairs, but obviously an "updated" 70's style kitchen... I love the look of this home all around!

If these links don't work I will probably delete this post as I'm not sure how else to get to the listings

Anyone else have any fun listings to browse??

I like looking too. I'll admit, I had to send the realtor a message about the cheesy photos for the last house. 7 toilet photos...& some with the lid up! OMG....bwaaahaaaa. But not one photo of the back yard.
