For anyone near West Michigan, I want to draw your attention to the 8th annual Old House Expo, scheduled for January 5, 2013. This year, they're partnering with the Grand Rapids Antique Market - the $10 entrance fee includes entry to both events.
I found last year's expo to be very helpful, especially the Vendors Hall - I've utilized at least two of the contractors that I met there.
The event will be January 5 at DeVos Place in downtown Grand Rapids. More information, including a $2-off coupon, is available at www.oldhousenetwork.org. Also, I'm attaching a copy of the event program (which is "95%" final).

we went and it was great, got some very useful information and the antiques market was great too! I would highly recommend this next year.
