Just wondering how everyones roof eaves and rake are setup, if it is the typical fascia board with drip edge or if there is a bit more detail to it. It would be great if I could see some pictures!
I suppose it is kind of a strange question, but I am starting to work on the overhangs of my addition. Thanks!

Re: Roof eaves
Our house has both the plain facia with drip edge (on the 1907 portion, a very simple house) and then a facia with 3" shadow board and drip edge (on the newer 1936 addition and even newer garage addiition)
I prefer the shadow board addition as it gives the rake such a better appeal visually without too much detail.
The garage addition also has cornice returns which I like, as it seems to give the structure a bit more heft and formality, again without too much fancy detail.
I'm working to finish a customer's porch this week before more rain so I'll try to post pics later.
