It would be really cool if we could add a "place" here for OT discussions...a "members only lounge" or something! Just thinking out loud...topics like this could go there (or resume there, ha ha).
I've seen other forums that have that, but don't know how difficult it might be to make, or if it's even wanted.

an off topic section might be worthwhile, and mick seriously, feel free to move or delete I don't' think anyone minds. I'm just not sure where to break it off as some of it was actually trying to find methodology to test for bad wiring in old houses albeit some was way off topic indeed.
In some forums they create too many sub forums that aren't used but we could give it a try the post count has been quite good here. lots of us are enjoying it.
