You are all correct. 100% for shaping the epoxy.
I gave them their maiden voyage last night. They worked pretty well.
If they were a bit more liable they would be better. It will still save me time with a chisel and sandpaper.

I spent the day making some contoured knives to repair the muntins.
Are they for shaping epoxy?
That was my guess, Ron.

Good progress today.
The contoured plastic putty knifes did pretty well.
The morning was spent sanding and shaping the muntins (at least close). Then a quick primer this afternoon.

She does .... hahaha .... it was a gift in case I get myself in trouble. I can sleep in the shop. I just need a pillow. The paint can laid on its side isn’t comfortable.

Very nice Paul. Are you painting the rebates where the putty/glass goes?

Thank you for the photos, Paul!
My sashes look about the same due to being exposed to weather for a long time, and I was unsure how they were supposed to look when they were ok to prime. Of course I was catastrophizing and thinking I had to epoxy almost everything.

You can also fill that checking with Sarco glazing putty - I prefer it as it's faster to do and moves better with the wood IMO
