Does anybody have any good pictures of these things in use?

I'm interested in typical placement with respect to the window and casing etc.

Hah! I actually do. But interestingly, not in use in my home. I have this pic because of the stencil detail.

Sorry it's just a partial, but again, my focus was different.

I just did an img search, and discovered the source: http://artsandcraftshomes.com/newsletters/2011/how-to-wallpaper-and-paint-your-arts-and-crafts-home/ The image there actually shows the two rods instead of just the one corner.

they look super neat but an eye level installation might be a bit of a risk ;-)

That's pretty cool. I dont' think I have seen curtain rods that swing away like that. They look really nice !

Spotted these "in the wild", as it were. Photo is from a listing on Old House Dreams. Seeing them in the doorway made me think of this thread. I don't know if they swing out the same, or swing "in", as it were. I've been having a hard time figuring it out. It appears that possibly, there is a track so they slide rather than swing. Anyone know?
