Opinions on handrail/picket restoration

I can just see trying to look at sideways pics on an apple product. I mean I can just flip my laptop on it's side.. but if it were on my ipad or my phone I could do that all day and it would keep turning my screen, How frustrating

That gray looks great with the white & that leaded glass window! If the wood has to be painted, at least it's a great paint job! (you should see the mess on my brick from a crappy outdoor paint job to my porch & trim!)

Aw, thanks! It's slowly coming together! Whew!
We had to sand and re-paint our front porch last year... I think I counted 6 layers of paint that I chipped off! Eeek!
