Wood storms - paint match

Restoring two of the only remaining wood storms on my house. Should the interiornside be painted to match the interior color on the sashes or painted the same exterior color?

Mike, ours were exterior frame colour on the exterior, the interior side was stained to match the interior trim. Not sure though if this was standard practice or customer preference.

the majority of storms I have seen, whether wood or aluminum, are painted the exterior color all around...that being said, it's really your choice...

Thanks, currently the exterior and interior are painted the same color. Glad to hear it wouldn't be unheard of to paint/stain the interior side to match the sashes.
