I'm so glad they left the sidelights and those wonderful upper windows when they brought in the Plastics Brigade. Are they transoms? Or is there another word for such? I'm still learning window lingo.
Some of the details inside are just lovely.
The gardening there is fitting as well. I'll have to take a walk later on today to see how she's doing nowadays.

I've heard them referred to as, "starburst transom windows." Not sure if that's correct, though!

Those are transoms, probably 1910s-1920s vintage. It's a shame that vinyl puked all over that house. I bet it was pretty in its original form!
