Stickley House For Sale

Post by Ober51 »

An excellent example of a gorgeous Stickley-inspired house. It is in the same town/neighborhood as our home,. I pray it goes to a like-minded owner!

Glad you like! With a little work and a lot of money, I hope to one day have something similar!

With the Stickly name directly attributed to the home, and it's level of originality, I would suspect there is a premium attached to the sale price. This I think will keep the interest in such a home within those that know what they are looking at.

Agreed. Although the house down the street, a (recently adulterated) craftsman as well, just sold for 865k.

$865 wow. Was there any thing left of the craftsman influence?

Yes, but they painted over all the originality.

Funny thing is, all of the original elements they ripped out are in my basement. I'm a bit of a dumpster diver...

The HGTV effect. "Open floor plan" and white paint. Sigh...
