You know your neighbors are going to start loving you now!
If you plumb in an outdoor sink, does it need a vent stack?

Well I usually save my stuff for a blog post but since I'm behind on blogging ... I've been repointing the foundation with lime mortar after that portland cement fiasco a while back.

I've also been glazing my first of several Queen Anne 15 over 1 sashes. The photo doesn't do the colors justice - the blue is a little more vibrant, as is the green and the "yellow" is actually an amber.

Wow, the reglazing looks GREAT! Ober has to eventually do the same to his foundation in the basement. Actually, his main supports are also brick and could use a good repointing, too. But Vala that looks awesome--nice work!

I did the service not for hope or hire:
And then I travelled on in winter’s cold,
Yet all the day I glowed before the fire.

It looks really good, Jeep. That will be a project you can savor for many, many years.

Both projects look great. I still have one cellar window I need to fix up. We have a storm for that one, so I figure at worst, it'll be an early winter project at this rate.

It's a "garden sink". Nothing but grey water from hand washing. It'll discharge out to daylight. No vent on this one.

Wow ! 50,000x better ! Great job, Vala. Your house must be sighing with relief to be freed from those white vinyl windows.
