When Considering the Purchase of a NRHP House...

My house is on the National Register, but not in a Historic District. I can do absolutely anything, no questions asked. Now, if I want tax credits, I have to do the paperwork. I actually did the paperwork, got the work done, and haven't done the last tiny bit to get the tax credit. I am such a procrastinator. But my goal is to get on the stick and get tax credits for the project started, and turn around and start all over again for HVAC work which would fall under the tax credit program. I would like tax credits for the masonry work needed also. I have lots of future plans but no fire to get it done.
