Yea it's a good size and has a great layout. There are days I'm kind of burnt out w doing work on it.

My plumber quit and now I have taken charge of the plumbing as watching him I learned to do it w pex pipping. I certainly do not enjoy the water falling all over.

Had that today only from watching the plumber! He replaced the expansion vessel on our boiler and as usual water sprayed everywhere. That might have fixed the mysterious occasional pressure loss though - we'll see.

So, after deciding that I did not want to pay anyone for painting new shakes, I started to hand dip in Thompsons the ones that were going up next. It was labor intensive but so worth it in the end. I will post pics later.

Got a roofer do some roof work today as we had a leak in one of rooms. I was able to score 3 bundles of shingles for it for free. She s costing me a pretty penny. Now I can focus more on the interior. We still have no heat but got hot water 2 weeks ago that was difficult due to permits.

I have got another issue w the city my water bill was 800 dollars and don't see that being possible as it was only myself staying in the home and i don't think power washing the bottom of the house would have hiked my bill to 80 units. Talking to city about it hopefully it can be resolvedz
