Bluegrass?

I have two Vinyls by the Red Clay Ramblers I got from the AM station WRPL in Charlotte NC. If you lived in the area in the 70's you would know it as "The radio station with balls". Hey...thats what they called it , not me.

But do wop? How about some local Philly do wop, a great tune to jitterbug to with a tool:

speaking of not liking rap,,, I do like Lou Reed. It seems so much was either just before my era or just didn't' see radio play to the extent of a lot of others. I really like Neil young too and same thign , some songs we just got sick of and other stuff never seemed to get much radio play.

here in Canada they had rules about playing a certain percentage of canadian content. Neil is originally from Canada But I don't know that I'd really consider him a Canadian exactly.. He's as much an American in my mind.

"walk on the wild side" saw lots of radio play.. but a couple examples of lou reed stuff.. some probably like it and others cant' relate.

I usually listen to the oldies station, which now includes 80s and 90s, rather than the 60s and 70s I prefer, but, oh well. I'm gaining an appreciation for some of the stuff I never heard before.

I have been known to paint to belly dance music! (I took classes for a few years, so I have several CDs)

Like all Queen songs, this one is really complex and layered. Someone put together a video of the painting the song is about*, with the equally dense but witty lyrics. It's all nuts ! But great !

Haha, those are both really good ! A good song is a good song however you play it.
