Lady, a dachshund poodle mix.

And Riley, a wheaton poodle mix.

Lady is 10 and has been a great companion on all of the house projects. We got Riley last year and she’s afraid of loud noises. So she’s more of an observer from afar!

Regarding "the latest dog..." I felt just like that this morning knowing I had to get up and putting it off. Ha, ha. I love seeing everyone's pooches.

We have been petless since our two Wheatens passed away in 2016. I have not yet been able to think about adopting another because it is so painful to lose them.

It's no picnic for them, either, to be in a shelter.

Ive heard many times that apartments are no place for dogs, and it makes me question if they are good enough for humans then. I usually refer to them as compartments, tongue in cheek-ily...

Ginger and some other unkept crazy old house animal, apparently with no eyes ;-)
