Is Florentine Glass still produced?

Hi everyone,
I was wanting to do my bathroom window with Florentine glass but I wasn't sure how to go about getting some - I see some places online selling salvaged glass- usually either too large (I know I could cut it down but if its not produced anymore I feel bad wasting anything more than a little bit of it) or too small and I find some other sites that sell but it I wasn't sure if it was still something that was made or if I had to find original glass then have it cut. Some places claim its no longer made and I wasn't sure what to believe.

Attached a photo to clarify which pattern I am referring to.

Yes, it is available new. Any good stained glass shop ought to have some on hand or be able to order it. A 24 by 30 inch piece was something like thirty dollars new, and maybe 15 to point and glaze it in the sash I had already prepared.

So glad to see its still being made. One of our (many) down-the-road projects will be to replace some cracked pieces of florentine.

When I bought some 10 years ago the glass shop had it down as "Florex" pattern.

Good to know! I do have a few spare panes (managed to get them out of a splintered door without cracking them) but I definitely know someone who needs more to replace a broken triple window.

Yea I figured I would ask the pros before spending countless hours searching and finding nothing.. I really didn't want to have to spend $100+ on ebay for a 2 ft x 2 ft piece when a full sheet can be bought for a fraction of that for repro.

From what I can tell, they never stopped making it. I love its qualities and am wracking my brain to come up with a use for it.

Off the top of my head: transoms, bathroom windows or lower half of any double sash windows where you want a bit of privacy the pattern affords as it breaks up the view.

Oh, and also possibly for cabinetry if you have thinner glass edge details where you don't necessarily have to perfectly see what's behind, just the mosaic of color afforded.
