Yes, it is sad that they are removing this. Even has a plate warmer.
Now I could be in NJ in about six hours. I wonder if they will take Canadian Tire money? (The Canucks among us will know what I mean)

I lived in Rutherford for a time. There were some really nice houses there, and hopefully many of them still are.

I do think ripping this out is idiotic, but hopefully someone will give it a lot of love in their own home. It would be funny if the buyer is someone undoing an "open concept update" that was done to their home before they had it.

There's a new concept taking the home-improvement world by storm - maybe you've heard of it: Open Floor Plan.

And those who try to adapt a century old house to this have an Open Floor Plan between their ears!

Looking at the setup and the plate warmer, I would say this is mid to late 19-oughts.

It's a beautiful set-up for a utilitarian space, and a pity it's being disassembled.

The only good reason to have an open concept floor plan is to configure it to gaze upon this beautiful pantry.

Do people forget that storage areas with doors and drawers is a really good and sensible thing ?
