it looks like a lifetime of work, but it doesn't seem to be ruined by updates. I'd go crazy wanting to restore everything but it sure has some beautiful architecture. Someone with a little money who could hire out a lot of the restoration could have a real palace. Someone like me that wanted to just DYI everything would make a dent and run out of lifetime. It's so big !

Well let’s hope. As phill mentioned she can use a lot of time or a lot of money. Probably a lot of both, and a new care taker who cares.

Rumor has it it's a single person with no kids that bought it. It has a small apartment (servents quarters?) in back upstairs, perhaps they will fix that part first and live there (it was the most livable part), then run it as a b&b...just a guess though. I think they closed on it, I saw a couple cars there and it's been cleaned up a bit around the outside.
