It's a beauty. In my area, pianos are routinely on Craigslist for free, and an occasional organ, but I haven't seen any as nice as this wedding cake of an Eastlake confection.

Get it Phil. You, Aunt Bea and the boys can sing hymns on Sunday evenings.

My MIL had one and got rid of it for free when she moved to NC from PA. It was very much like the one you have pictured. She tried donating it to a historical society in the town it was made, but they didn't want it.

We were offered a free one as well, we just had to move it. Turned it down politely. To bad these things don’t get the love they deserve.

Those things can be quite fussy... the bellows were often leather, and they are often cracked and can't hold air. A friend of mine got one and planned to sell it for $500, if I remember correctly. I checked it out, but most of the stops didn't work. They're lovely pieces, and they can be fixed to work again if they aren't playable. I do love the sound of a parlor reed organ.

I have a friendly group of folks over on FB (about 1250 members) who provide help on restoring reed organs. Reed Organ Tech group.
