Well isn't that interesting, notice the sink has three sources for water, hot, cold and well or cistern. Interesting that they would put a tap on the well water, looks like it allowed to get water up stairs May tow fill a reservoir for the toilets? I bet that gave the old arms a work out if that is what it does.

I dont recall where the vertical pipe went, it may have been a feed for the hot water tank. the cistern for the pump was downstairs in the basement, fed by water from the roof.

That's really nice. Lots of good ideas there.

I'm working on collecting pieces and parts to create an unfitted kitchen in our small bungalow. I've currently have one and a half Hoosiers (half because the top of one is missing), a coal cooking stove like was in my grandmother's kitchen, and some other cabinets to use.

One of the projects on the list I don't have time to do, but I'll have all the parts when ready.
