As someone who likes to cook, the old work triangle was a disaster. The new one is much better.

The style is a bit more in keeping with the house now, too. The previous scandinavian industrial with nautical tile just wasn't working in a colonial house.

We're not really wine people, so we'll need some help with that. ;-)

Last summer, while visiting my grandmother in a little own in North Dakota, we found this in one of the local shops. Last week, I finally installed it in our Laundry Room.

Thanks! Now we need to teach the kids to do their own laundry before they go off to college. I think they still believe in the Laundry Fairy...

Start them early; our sons can cook, clean & do laundry! They are both Eagle Scouts.

Ours have the ability and have been taught.

She's better about it. He's fine wearing rumpled clothes from a laundry basket...

FYI - The Society of Architectural Historians has their 2018 international conference in Saint Paul, MN April 18-22.

The tour featuring our house (among several other Cass Gilbert structures) is already booked up, but there are plenty of other tours available to the public for those in the area and looking for something to do...

I mentioned our fourth-born in another thread about keeping rabbits out of the garden. Introducing the Guardian of the Yard:
