The front parlour facing the fireplace as it is today. I think all we are missing is the peacock feathers in the corner.

My grandparents had one of those little wheeled carts to serve tea on. I wonder what happened to it . . . hadn't thought about it in decades but I do recall it vividly from my childhood.

Overall, you've done an amazing job with the furniture as well as with preserving the structure. :thumbup:

Yes my parents had a wrought iron tea cart with glass inserts in our dining room---I think my sister has it.

Oh wow.....i feel bad, Gothichome. I never stumbled across this thread until now. I'm basically just sitting here making infantile noises and drooling....what an amazing and beautiful house! That paneling alone...just WOW.

Well folks, today is my last official day of employment. Not sure whether I'll call it unemployment, semi retirement or early retirement. One of the Things I do know, I am moving full time from Calgary to Chatham.
