Made the move

Hello all. I did not post frequently at wavy glass, but I did read daily. I'm glad to rejoin you all here. Thanks again to mick_vt for setting this up for us!
My homes are both very simple compared to at lot of the ones posted here.
The home that we live in is a 1940 Colonial home. I would love to take the vinyl down some day. We are in the process of changing the green and reglazing and painting the windows.

We rent our former home out. It's a 1926 bungalow. This home has eaten up a lot of our time and attention lately!

Not much of an update on the porch unfortunately. My Grandma is sick, so my Dad has been helping her a lot with appointments. I'm spent more time with family and less time on major projects. I have been keeping busy with windows in between though.
Here is a photo showing the porch about where we left off.

We painted our door, installed a new storm door and I polished and lacquered the house numbers.

Here is the more recent and not so great photo of our home. Looking, well.... it is what it is

Well best wishes to your Grandma-you better enjoy her while you still have her. That house is getting pretty looking, too!

Are you able to enjoy that porch yet? It is a beauty. I sit on the back porch (screened) on a swing every day the weather lets me.

Now that the weather has become more agreeable, I am starting to work on the exterior of our house again. I finished painting the front windows and they finally all match. I've started inspecting and re-glazing the windows that are on the driveway side of the house. They are all in such bad shape, I don't understand how they were left so long. I'm just thankful they were not replaced. There is already way to much plastic on the exterior for my taste as it is.
This is a kitchen window. This is an example of a bad window, but not the worst by far.

This is a living room window. There are two on either side of the chimney. I am going to repair and repaint the wooden storm windows this year.

We are now expecting our second child and my wife's due date is July 31st. Getting our screen porch finished so that we can enjoy it with our newborn is a very high priority this summer.
