I found you!

Post by HB2 »

I was one of the early members of OHW, and then migrated to Wavyglass, but haven't been there for a year - was I surprised to see what happened. What a shame.

Anyway for those that don't know me or remember, I have a stone georgian in SEPA and I'm a lime geek.
When we started this it was just my wife and I, but now we're joined by our 3 children, a a hen house full of chickens, a couple of dogs, cats and goats, and a pony.

We've been in the house for 15 years, and we have at least 20 years of projects left. What we have gotten close to completing seems to be stuck at about 90%.

It's nice to see a lot of the same group that was here from the beginning.

Nice to see another lime geek on here. I'm about to make about 10 gallons of putty for a future project. Welcome!

Glad to see you over here. As a lime geek perhaps you can tell me if you know of any other companies that sell premixed lime mortars in a variety of colors now that Virginia Lime Works seems to be defunct....and I need more.

Good to see you HB2
Skip, this is one of the few places were when we mention "I'm restore an old house" the listener doesn't offer up sympathy. Only natural that the enlightened should gather.
