Re: I finally made it!!
Hey everyone!! Thanks for the greetings!
Gotta love this group, no matter the forum we fall into. For a while I was doomed to surf on the Houzz site...not that it was horrible, but all those open concepts & boring tan bathrooms was beginning to make me a little ill!
Still plugging away at restorations. I probably have 5 or 6 projects going at the same time. Some inside...some outside. Got my bedroom 90% finished & then found there is a leak in the roof, which of course dripped into my bedroom ceiling & the paint peeled...well, you get the idea!
Deep breath...get the chimney flashing recalked & it will all be good.
One day at a time....

Yep, scraping the eaves & "WTH" the wood is wet---loose chimney flashing---plus the entire rear side of the standing seam roof needs scraping & recoating with silver fiber. One darn thing after another---at least the weather is warm!

Oh yeah...got both porch roofs patched where they meet the house last year & new elastomeric paint on those 2 roofs. Never could coordinate with my guy to get the upper roof done this year. Now I'm really paying for it!
Crap!!!
Feelin' your pain my friend!

No....never did. I have been considering one of these:

Mo, just as correct. I believe they are making repops of those clocks now. They run on batteries rather than having to plug it into a wall mounted clock plug.
