Just stumbled across this group, which looks like being a mine of useful information!
We recently bought a slightly dilapidated 19th century country cottage in the Machars of Galloway. All the major works had been done, but we have set ourselves the mission of removing some of the less sympathetic remains of previous renovations and restoring some of the character and history of the place - and 3 weeks of lockdown seems the ideal opportunity to make a start!
Looking forward to picking up some inspiration and handy tips from fellow members!
