Home from 1890

Post by J.bailey86 »

Hello, name is Joe. Bought a house in upstate NY that was built in 1890. During a bathroom remodeling I found what appeared to be crucifixion spikes (joke) holding the 1x up. Wondering what (if anything) the windows might me worth when I go to replace them.

Please re-consider replacing the windows. 99.9% of the "benefits" of replacement windows is pure crap - put out there by the window companies in order to sell more units. Also, replacement windows last about 10-15 years depending on if you open them or not. Then you enter a vicious cycle of making a costly donation to the window companies every decade.
