Half-timbered Queen Anne in CT. It reminds me of those storybook Bavarian half timbered houses. I haven’t seen any like it in the area.
We need to paint - choosing a palette is SO HARD. I currently have the glass out of 3 sashes - need to decide NOW on a color scheme!!
Work on it is slow with full time jobs and 3 kids, but we are plugging away...

Hi Krista, and welcome. What a great, eclectic house you have. It's going to be fun choosing colors for it. Don't feel rushed; you can leave primer on windows for a while until you decide.
I'm in Connecticut, too, for half the year, Hartford area.

Welcome, Krista! And welcome to your lovely house!
If it was me, I'd make it a Tudor with the traditional off-white and brown. But that should be no surprise to anyone.

Well isn't that a nice looking home. An interesting twist with the half timber Tudor Third story. As you have probably researched, the half timber would be a brownish black to imitate ancient aged oak and the infill lime plaster white to simulate daub. But the issue is how do you make that blend with the American four square look of you home. A dilemma to be sure. I have no answers or suggestions for you.
You might Want to google ‘American Tudor’ revival images. Might give you hint.

Forest green on the lower section might bring out that "Bavarian" look, with a dark red door. You're lucky your roof is brown, so it will look nice with earth-toned colors.

Love it. If it were me, that's what I'd do. (I had to use light colors in sunny Gulf-coast Alabama.)
Re: 1901 Victorian
Thanks! Gothichome, those houses certainly share at least a common cousin with mine. A Field Guide to American Houses mentions half-timbered Queen Anne Vics:

Krista, another place you could look is on https://www.oldhouseguy.com/projects/ex ... portfolio/
Ken, the owner, is very helpful. I hired him to consult on the colors of my house because I had no clue where to start. I gave him some colors that I liked, and his first color choice was right on. Here's my rendering:
