the 'speedheater' is the original infrared paint remover...the 'silent paint remover' is a 'copy'...I had a silent paint remover and found it worked to fast for stripping profiles on muntins, stiles and rails...for large flat surfaces it can be a time saver... the fairly new 'cobra' is a smaller ver...

hey ken... you may find that you'll need to get shaper knives custom made...I did a quick search for custom made cutter but only found these...I have a friend who makes custom sash and has his knives custom ground...let me know if you'd like me to find out the name of the company he deals with....he...

make applesauce or give them to someone who does... horses and cows love apples...do you have a farm near by? leave some for the critters who are enjoying them... if the tree is cared for by the new owner (you!), it won't be so tall but grow wide... get yourself a little ladder and pick them so they...

late to the conversation....don't always read this thread but maybe I should........ good for you for tackling your sash corset woman! agreed, your putty line is a bit too thing...the rule of thumb is to hold the putty back from the edge of the rabbet about 1/16"...then when you paint the exter...
