Re: Repainting cupboard that has lead paint for use in kitchen
If the paint is not flaking you don't need to strip it, just encapsulate with primer and a couple of topcoats. Either way (stripped or not) you will be fine once it is freshly painted. By the way, did you test for lead? Don't assume it has lead by it's age, not all paint contained it I did test for...

Repainting cupboard that has lead paint for use in kitchen
I'm finally getting around to stripping this cupboard for my kitchen. It currently has lead paint on it. I'm stripping off the paint and going to repaint it in a similar white, Farrow & Ball Pointing (m). I will be doing this in the barn and have a respirator with P100 filters and will be using ...

Re: 10ft farm table!
That is a mighty table ! I wonder if it might have been a library or lab table from a university, etc. ? Of course there were places that had large production line kitchens, like a convent. If it was a farmhouse it was an XXXL house, with lots of staff... Loads of space to get your creative work sp...

Re: 10ft farm table!
Very nice indeed Oaktree. Ten feet a long table for a harvest/kitchen work table for most homes. To big for even Gothichome's kitchen. It would be interesting to know its original home. But I can bet it will be a grand home. I will ask more about it's history the next time I see the sellers when th...

Re: 10ft farm table!
Magnificent! I like the casters. What kind of wood? I am not sure on the type of wood, but I will examine it and ask the sellers next time. The sellers told me they found it in a barn, but I must ask where. The original casters are awesome, but I might replace them with some soft casters to protect...

Re: Butler's Pantry For Sale
I seriously considered the drive for this, being about to build my own butler's pantry. Unfortunately after studying the pictures for a while I realized my low ceiling height would make any attempt to transplant it futile. Oh no! I wanted someone from here to buy these! They are incredible! However...
